Jack Silvera

Gemologist & Diamond Expert · Founder & Principal

With over 20 years of hands-on experience in the international diamond and precious stone trade, Jack Silvera has built Raja Diam into a trusted name across the world's major trading centres. Born and raised in Milan, he holds a Bachelor's Degree in Business Administration from Università Bocconi — one of Europe's foremost business institutions — and is a trained gemologist who combines technical expertise in stone evaluation with deep commercial knowledge of global diamond markets.

His activity spans the full breadth of the trade: wholesale sourcing, important stone transactions, and advisory mandates for institutional and private clients worldwide. His network extends across Milan, Antwerp, Dubai, New York, Mumbai, Tel Aviv, and beyond.

Beyond Raja Diam, Jack is the founder of La Diamanteria — a Milan-based diamond atelier on Via Vincenzo Monti established in 2009, combining retail jewellery, bespoke commissions, and professional diamond evaluation for private clients across Italy. He is also co-founder of Kimby (kimby.io), a private investment club that enables accredited investors to access high-value natural diamonds through fractional ownership — bringing institutional-grade diamond investment to a broader audience of sophisticated investors. Finally, he has diversified into premium real estate development with Wasl Mansions, an ultra-luxury residential development in Dubai's exclusive Al Wasl district — one of the city's rarest freehold villa zones, steps from the Burj Khalifa and the CBD.

Round Brilliant Diamonds

All sizes from 0.30 ct to 10+ ct. Priority focus on D–G colour, IF–VS2 clarity. GIA and HRD certified.

Fancy Shape Diamonds

Oval, pear, cushion, emerald, princess and marquise cuts. Ideal proportions, hand-selected.

Fancy Colour Diamonds

Natural yellow, pink, blue, green, and orange diamonds. GIA Fancy Colour grading. Rare and investable.

Important & Significant Stones

D-Flawless, Type IIa, and stones of historical or auction-level significance. Discreet private market transactions.

The Gemological Institute of America — the global standard for diamond grading. We prioritise GIA-certified stones for all significant transactions.

HRD & IGI Reports

DMCC Licensed

Raja Diam FZCO is a fully licensed entity within the Dubai Multi Commodities Centre (DMCC) — the world's largest free zone for commodities trade — and registered with the UAE Ministry of Economy as a regulated precious stones and metals dealer.

AML & KYC Regulated

Raja Diam FZCO operates under the AML/CFT regulatory framework administered by the DMCC Authority and the UAE Ministry of Economy — the designated supervisory body for Designated Non-Financial Businesses and Professions (DNFBPs), which includes precious stones and metals dealers. Full KYC, customer due diligence, and transaction monitoring are applied to all counterparties.

Kimberley Process

All diamonds are sourced in compliance with the Kimberley Process Certification Scheme. We deal exclusively in conflict-free natural diamonds.

Confidential Transactions

Every transaction is handled with complete discretion. NDAs available upon request. Client identity and transaction details are never disclosed.
